Cull Cost To The Community Other Than Dollars

The DNR seems to believe they own the White Tail Deer, if this is true then they are responsible for them. Consequently when a  community has a problem with the deer it is the DNR's job to fix that problem at no charge to the community. It would be interesting to see how many culls there were if the DNR could not charge for doing them. My money is on zero!

If you have a suggestion how our tax dollars can be better used email them to me for inclusion on this page.

I have noticed that disabled persons that use powered wheelchairs or small scooters drive them in the street. I never thought much about that until recently when, because of mountains of leaves raked to the curbside the disabled persons have been forced out into the traffic area of the street.

When I inquired about this I was told that the sidewalks have so many sections that are damaged that they are mostly impassable for the small scooters used by the disabled.

In their wisdom the city fathers are spending almost $60,000.00 to kill deer while putting the disabled at risk because they cannot use the sidewalks.

People that support deer culls should take personal responsibility for protecting their flowers and shrubs instead of expecting others to pay for their yard maintenance.

I live close to the Bryant woods area and have frequent White-tailed deer visitors and protect my plantings with non lethal means that I pay for myself. There are many types available. CLICK HERE

Deer culls do not work - When the heard is thinned nature increases the fertility and birth rate and reduces deaths caused from severe winters.

More non lethal deer and rabbit repellants. CLICK HERE
