There is a significant difference between licensed hunting, although because of new hunting rules hunting is becoming more like an organized ambush rather than a skilled hunt, and state sponsored culls. DNR sponsored culls are to deer hunting as depth charges are to fishing.

The following are ads as they appeared in the Ludington Daily News.

You have our permission to use any of these ads to oppose deer culls anywhere they are proposed.

Praise God

For the abundance of wildlife, we are blessed to share Mason County with. Thank you PM Township Board for having the courage to reverse an earlier decision to conduct deer culls in the township parks. There are many non-lethal methods available to protect flowers and shrubs let us take personal responsibility and use them and receive God’s blessing for doing so.
